We have been contacted by Banton Group, a Sydney-based class action law firm, in connection with the Sydney CBD & South East Light Rail Class Action. They act on behalf of businesses, landlords and residents affected by the construction of the light rail, including its impact on local trade and revenue. Mediation with Transport for NSW is scheduled to begin on 30 June 2026. In advance of that date, we are working to ensure that potentially affected businesses are aware of the proceeding and have an opportunity to sign up, as they may have a claim for compensation. While mediation begins on 30 June, they expect to continue accepting sign-ups while the matter remains unresolved.
